Signeo’s ‘Soul by Ludacris’ headphone series get May release – Price

Back in January last year Signeo unveiled their new line of headphones, the ‘Soul by Ludacris’ range. They were debuted at CES 2011 where we were told they would be shipping early this year. Today we have news that they will be arriving in stores this May.

The headphones from Signeo are one line from a growing trend of headphones manufacturers teaming up with well-known music artists in order to fund their marketing projects. Harman AKG having previously teamed with Quincy Jones, Sleek Audio with 50-Cent and HP with Dr. Dre and various other artists including Justin Bieber.

The news comes from an article by Darren Murph at Engadget which explains that the Soul by Ludacris line have also been given prices for their new range and they have undercut immediate competitors’ prices slightly in order to get a leg up it seems.

At the top end the SL300 model is to sell at $299 while the bottom end SL49 earbuds model will cost $69. Each reportedly cheaper than each of the models Dr. Dre and Beats is offering. The line also includes models SL99, SL100 and SL150 the cost of each can be found in the full article at Engadget where they also feature a full press release.
