The Showbox Android app works by rewarding people to unlock their phones and it can apparently help subsidize your phone bill with vouchers. It works by offering users points if they download apps after unlocking their Android phone, and in return you can use these Showbox points to gain gifts from brands the application has partnered with.
You can’t keep unlocking all day to get points, thanks to the Showbox app only letting users get to a certain points limit in one day. Once you reach this number of points, then you won’t be able to get any more for unlocking, but you can get more points for downloading Android apps.
Showbox app rewards start to disappoint – there’s certainly a user base taking part and this is seen by around 50,000 installs on Android. This isn’t massive when it’s compared to other popular Android apps, but if these users unlock everyday with the Showbox app then it could be a big daily user base. We’ve taken a look at some of the user feedback so far and it seems like a few of those using the app aren’t happy with the rewards.
One commenter said, “The rewards have gone bad, they used to be really good with a fair price voucher and Paypal payout”. We have since noticed a response to this feedback from the official Showbox Group and they stated, “Thanks for the feedback. We’re planning on bringing Paypal payout back”.
Are you happy with the rewards in the Showbox app? It looks like the next Showbox Android app update will likely bring better rewards. This of course depends on the need to bring this feature back with an app update. Head to the Google play store to download the Showbox Android app and learn more about it. There’s even a video visually showing you how it works.
