Shogun 2: Total War for the PC is not out until some time in 2011, so it is nice to see that Sega finally release its first artwork and logos for the game. Sega did not plan on launching any details on the game just yet, but maybe the recent leak forced their hand?
Shogun 2: Total War is now the sixth installment of the franchise, and this latest version of the strategy games will see a host of new ideas — none ever seen from the franchise before. The game is set in 16th Century Feudal Japan, with warring clans dividing the country.
To achieve your ultimate goal you will need to use a mix of diplomacy, economics and engagements to reunite Japan — if you do this then you will become the new Shogun. Just remember that this is not an easy task.
CVG had a chance to talk to Mike Simpson, someone who has been important to the Total War franchise. He said that it was great to finally use some of the new technology for the new game. Visit CVG via the link above for photos of the new artwork and logos.
