Shocking Sturridge, Sterling ratings for LFC on UT

How are you getting on with the FIFA 15 demo which should now be live for everyone? Aside from basic exhibitions the demo also allows players to get a great preview of FIFA 15 Ultimate Team. As a result we can now bring you some gameplay showing the main stars such as Messi, Ibrahimovic and Neymar.

It’s nice of EA to give a good heads-up on Ultimate Team and give players the chance to play as Messi in Ultimate Team considering he’s now officially the highest rated player in the game.

More importantly though, this demo has revealed the official rating for Daniel Sturridge on FIFA 15. We told you earlier in the week that the rumored rating for this player was 84, but even that is wrong.

After playing the demo, we can see that Sturridge is going to be rated just 83 in FIFA 15 and that is actually the highest rated player in the whole squad, as it stands.

EA has yet to add Mario Balotelli into the Liverpool team, who could be well be an 84 but as it stands Sturridge is the highest rated LFC player with an 83.

The demo ratings may change for the final release, but we have a feeling that they will not – it’s simply too much work for EA to go ahead and re-do every single rating from the demo to the final version.

What would make them change the ratings though, is widespread anger from fans. Is Sturridge really worthy of an 83 rating when players such as Chiellini are rated above him?

We are also very surprised to see that Gerrard only has a FIFA 15 rating of 82 and Raheem Sterling on 79 – what Premier League season were EA watching last season?

Let us know your thoughts on the demo ratings and whether you think EA needs to upgrade the Liverpool ratings specifically before the final game is out – you can see confirmation of the ratings towards the end of the video below.
