Shift 2: Unleashed – PC Patch Now Available – List of Bug Fixes

If at some point today or yesterday you have been on your PC and played the Shift 2: Unleashed game, you will already be aware that EA has just released a patch for the hugely popular racing game. However, some of you may not have had the chance, and might be wondering what the patch contains.

According to a recent article over at by john2, the new patch not only addresses the issue of the input lag that was present on steering wheels and the black screen that some gamers were experiencing at the start of offline events, but it also contains a number of bug fixes.

For example, the new patch has now fixed the issue where players’ cars were occasionally crashing during the rolling start before the player had taken control, as well as the problem where the host’s car was not visible to at least one of the clients in a lobby within the online modes.

Players should no longer experience the issue where the car’s wheels would intersect or float in the air when they were using wheels with a different diameter to the AI. The bug where certain player views would not initialize correctly at the start of the race has also been fixed.
