Shenmue 3 Kickstarter end produces new trailer

We are coming to the end of the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter project with under two days to go. The Shenmue 3 Kickstarter total amount has now passed over $5,000,000 from the original $2 million goal and to celebrate – YsNet has released a new Shenmue 3 trailer for you to enjoy.

Without further ado, you can now watch the Shenmue 3 Lake of the Lantern Bugs trailer below in its entirety. It’s not long but it’s delightful enough to give you a sense of excitement after seeing Ryu and Shenhua with updated models.

Something tells us that this is going to be another magical adventure and with $3 million extra in the pot along with Sony’s private backing let’s hope that content is going to be heavy and we are talking about a game that will feature hundreds of hours of content.

After all, players won’t want to complete this in a matter of days and we’re sure Yu Suzuki wants to keep players busy for months just like the original.

Remember that you can now get a physical copy on PS4 for $60, since the project had been changed mid-way after big demands for a PS4 disc version of Shenumue 3 as opposed to PC.

What are your thoughts on the trailer above showing Ryo and Shenhua – did you donate money to this project or not?

In terms of gameplay hours, what would you say should be a target number for you to be satisfied?
