Sharknado 2 helps Go Shark Yourself app

The idea of a movie where sharks rain down on a town during a huge storm seemed a bit far-fetched, but who would have thought it would become a cult movie? What is even more confusing is how a sequel was made, Sharknado 2. This just shows that anything goes in Hollywood, and since it was released on TV last week the Go Shark Yourself app become far more popular.

I have never managed to bring myself to watching either movie because I am not in to B-list movies. However, the cult following seems to have kicked into another gear since the release of the second movie, but it is the app that we thought we would talk about.

Go Shark Yourself puts you right into the heart of the movie, although it does lack in features. You basically take a selfie and then place yourself into pre-selected scenes.

You can select to be trapped in a subway with a shark, inside a shark’s mouth, defend your family from attack from one of these fish and many more. Once you have made your choice you can then make a few filter adjustments and send the image to your friends via Facebook, Twitter Whatsapp, Instagram and SMS.

The age limit for this app is 13 years old and above, and there is something else you need to know, the app seems to have better special effects than the movie. Download the app now for Android and iOS.
