Shadow of Mordor release delay on Xbox 360, PS3

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor were expected to release on September 30, 2014. Warner has just announced this date won’t be going ahead for those platforms now, and as such you should expect a delay for the last generation consoles.

You can expect the new Shadow of Mordor release date to be November 18 for both Xbox 360 and PS3. This is for those in the United States, although in Europe the new date will be November 21.

The good news comes for Xbox One, PS4, and PC gamers that want to get hands-on with Shadow of Mordor this month. We hear that the original date is still set for these systems, although that’s October 3 for UK and Europe.

You should also note that Steam and PC versions gain a same day release now, rather than the previously expected release in early October. How do you feel about the new release date adjustment for PS3 and Xbox 360? Share a comment below, and of course let us know if you plan on purchasing Shadow of Mordor and on what platform.
