Sega launch Sonic Racing Transformed game for iOS, Android

For those of you looking for a new mobile game for the new year, look no further than Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for iOS and Android. The game was launched by Sega today, offering a huge range of unlockable features and different game modes.

You can jump into the driver’s seat as Sonic the Hedgehog by downloading the game on iOS from the iTunes Store for either $4.99 or £2.99. The game is set to be made available for Android shortly, being downloadable from the Google Play Store.

The in game currency consists of ‘Rings’ and ‘Stars’ and can be earned through gameplay or bought with real money. The virtual currency can be spent to access new features such as characters or events, some elements are only available through purchase however.

The mobile game comes with Facebook integration so that you can compete with friend’s scores and also race against them. Players will enjoy competitive 4 player races which can be against either people on their friends list or the online gaming community.
