We have some great news now for those of you that are waiting for the $15 downloadable first-person shooter Section 8: Prejudice to arrive, as the developer TimeGate Studios has just announced the release date details. However, it doesn’t look like it is good news for everyone!!
According to a recent article by Christopher Rick over at gamersdailynews.com, Section 8: Prejudice will be arriving at different times for the different platforms, with Xbox 360 owners receiving it before anyone else. The upcoming game is due to hit Xbox Live Arcade on April 20th.
Those who want the Microsoft Windows version will have to wait until May 4th to start playing the game. The PlayStation 3 version unfortunately hasn’t been given a release date as of yet. All we know at this point is that it will be arriving on the PlayStation Network sometime in the summer.
The Section 8: Prejudice game — which is a direct sequel to the 2009 game Section 8 — features a 5-hour story-driven single-player campaign mode, as well as a Conquest multiplayer mode that supports up to 32 players and a Swarm 4-player co-operative mode.
Other features include offline bot support for all of the game modes, Dynamic Combat Missions that ensures no 2 multiplayer matches ever play the same, dedicated servers for all platforms, clan management tools and highly customizable equipment and weapon loadouts.
