Sanyo 42-inch DP42840 LCD TV: Reviews and specs

If you are looking to grab yourself a bargain before the holiday season kicks off, then you will be shocked to know that Walmart has a Saturday deal event running on the 5th of November, which is almost like a pre-Black Friday sale. One product that they have up for offer is the Sanyo 42-inch DP42840 LCD TV, so we thought we would offer a few reviews and specs to see if it is worth paying $398.00, although that is reduced from $498.00.

It’s no secret that this TV will not compare to most Samsung and LG TVs on the market, but it’s not all about high-end products. The first thing you should know is that this 42-inch TV comes with a 4000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, which is not that great. Other features include Full HD 1080P, 60Hz, 3 HDMI ports, USB input and much more.

One review breaks down all of the features and then marks them either Good, Better or Best. It does not come as a shock that most of the features only receive a good. The next review is from HDTV Solutions, which goes by a user review rating. However, we are not certain how reliable the score is, as the TV scores five stars in every category?

However, the best review for the Sanyo 42-inch DP42840 LCD TV comes from Walmart themselves, as there are 101 customer reviews, which you can read in full here. Just remember not to buy the TV yet, as you will not get the discount until Saturday.
