Back in May we told you that the long awaited Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Oreo update was rolling out to UK users. Now almost one month later, we are happy to finally see movement with regards to the delayed update for everyone in the US.

We are getting reports that Samsung is now pushing out the same official build of Oreo to Galaxy Tab S3 users in the States, identified with build number T820XXU1BRE2 and T820XAR1BRE1.

The good news is that if you are still waiting for the notification to land automatically, you can head to the update section of your tablet and push the update manually – it should begin to download.

File size is around 1.2GB and the update includes Samsung Experience 9.0 along with Oreo bringing all sorts of performance improvements and enhancements.

Verizon has also confirmed via a support document that their Oreo update is ready too for those who have the Verizon Galaxy Tab S3. This will be identified by build number R16NW.T827VVRU1BRD4 and you can see full details of the Verizon update here.
