There are several different tablets on the market at the moment each including their own individual feature. One of the most disappointing things about the devices on the market at the moment is the lack of USB compatibility; even the great iPad 2 doesn’t include this feature.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab as impressive as it is is still one these tablets which lack a built in USB slot, despite its recent upgrade to Android Honeycomb 3.1 which grants the slate USB hosting capability. However there is a solution to this problem, a USB adapter.
Today we have news that the company has released one such adapter for the 10.1 Tab and it can be viewed at the Samsung US site. The unfortunate thing about this device is it’s not the most attractive looking thing in the world. It’s enough to ruin even the Galaxy Tab’s sexy silhouette.
The device cost $20 and converts the 30-pin connecter into USB allowing for the connectivity of mice, memory sticks, keyboards etc. check out the link above for more details on the USB adapter from Samsung, where you can also order one online.
Will you be purchasing one for your Galaxy Tab?
