Samsung UN55KS8000 55-inch 4K TV with stellar reviews

If you are looking to upgrade to the very best of 4K TV viewing, the Samsung UN55KS8000 8 Series 55-inch 4K UHD TV is a thing of beauty and one of Samsung’s new ‘Super’ UHD models.

The best time to buy a new TV is in November, as it’s when all of the retailers drop prices significantly in the hope of luring consumers in.

The Samsung UN55KS8000 price is usually around the $2000 range, but places such as Ebay may be willing to sell for under $1000 during the sales period.

What kind of features do you get on this premium model though? For starters, the Samsung UN55KS8000 is a Quantum Dot Color model, which uses up to a billion color combinations to really bring pictures to life.

There’s also HDR 1000, which is Samsung’s enhanced version of HDR Premium which you see on many of their cheaper 4K UHD models.

HDR 1000 offers brightness of up to 1000 nits and combined with Samsung’s Ultra Black feature on this model you really get a realistic picture compared to other 4K TVs that don’t have these extras – a video below gives you an example of this.

Other general Samsung UN55KS8000FXZA specs include Motion Rate 240, DTS Premium Sound 5.1, UHD upscaling and dimming, Smart apps, mobile to TV mirroring, DNLA, 4 HDMI ports, 3 USB ports and 10 bit Wide Color Gamut support.

Simply put it is a behemoth in terms of viewing quality and we say it is an excellent option if you manage to find it below $1000 this month.

Don’t forget with HDR 1000 and Wide Color Gamut, it is completely future proof with the PS4 Pro, Xbox One S and Project Scorpio game consoles as well.

Full specs are available at Samsung’s product listing here, while we also have the manual download for those that want an even closer look.

To get an idea of what consumers think about this model, you should read through the Samsung UN55KS8000 reviews here – currently it has a 4.4/5 rating on Amazon with 59% of 5-star reviews from those who have already bought one.

It’s a lot of money, but does this look like the ultimate 4K TV upgrade for you? Leave your thoughts and questions below.
