Samsung UE40KU6020 Smart 4K TV review for PS4 Pro, Xbox One S

We have yet another Samsung 4K TV that we are taking a look at now, which is another model that is hard to refuse given the fact that it’s currently discounted across multiple retailers in the UK.

This is the Samsung UE40KU6020 Smart 4K Ultra HD 40 Inch LED TV with Freeview HD which is sold by Tesco and John Lewis – £349 is the best price at the time of writing.

Samsung UE40KU6020 specs include a 40-inch LED display with a 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD resolution, 1300 PQI motion rate, 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, Smart apps, WiFi, DLNA and Tizen OS – the actual refresh rate will still be 50Hz.

4K features include HDR and also 4K upscaling, which will boost the picture quality of your programmes up to near 4K resolution.

We can also confirm that the Samsung UE40KU6020 has PlayStation Now, which will allow you to stream PS3 games directly onto the TV eliminating the need for any PS3 console which is really nice.

With HDR on board, it also means that the Samsung UE40KU6020 supports the PS4 Pro and Xbox One S consoles. Just bear in mind that it is 8-hit only though rather than 10-bit so you won’t get the full HDR experience that you would on one of Samsung’s ‘Super UHD’ TV models.

For a further look at this model, you can check out the Samsung UE40KU6020 manual and download it for future reference if you need.

This is a brand new model for 2016 on sale in November 2016 and as a result, there are not many professional Samsung UE40KU6020 Smart 4K Ultra HD reviews online – we couldn’t even find an official product listing for it.

However you can check out some user reviews here to find out what Tesco buyers have been saying about it – it currently has a positive 4.9/5 rating which is very good.
