Samsung UE40 C7000: First 3D TV on Sale in UK

If you have been reading up on the 3D television sales over in U.S and fancied a bit of the action here in the UK, you’ll be pleased to know that Samsung has just launched their first 3D-equipped TV set in the UK.

As reported from ITProPortal, the Samsung UE40 C7000 model is now available to buy at department store John Lewis.

The C7000 uses active 3D technology during operation, and comes with a 40-inch LCD display with LED-backlit technology. It is 30mm thick and also comes with a built-in Freeview HD tuner and HD video recording capabilities via USB port.

The TV set costs £1700 and will come bundled with a copy of Monsters Vs Aliens in 3D. However, you’ll have to pay £149 extra for a set of 3D Active Glasses.

Will you be racing down to John Lewis to get one? It seems overpriced at the moment.
