Samsung Transform: Mini Epic 4G?

We have more details on the upcoming Samsung Transform device now, as we have a great hands-on video for you to look at, giving you the perfect preview before the handset lands on Sprint this month.

The hands-on video comes courtesy of Engadget, who have essentially labelled the Samsung Transform as a ‘mini Epic 4G’ device.

In case you didn’t know, the Transform features a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 800MHz processor. It also comes with two cameras for video chat, one front and one back although Engadget states that the resolution isn’t anything special.

You may be disappointed to hear that the Samsung Transform won’t be coming with Sprint 4G support and it will only ship with Android 2.1 OS, despite reports that this would be coming with stock Android 2.2! If this isn’t a deal breaker for you, check out the video below and let us know your thoughts on the handset.
