Samsung tease Galaxy Note 3 and S4 processor image

Having already established that Samsung’s next flagship phones are to come with the monster that is the Exynos 5 Octa processor, they now thought it was the perfect time to tease the new Galaxy Note 3 and S4 processor by making an image available online. While this may not be the image of either handset we had hoped for it shows that Samsung are doing just enough to increase our anticipation of the upcoming smartphones.

Samsung decided to release the image of the Exynos 5 Octa processor on Twitter reports The Christian Post, and it seems to have had the desired effect because consumers are already imaging the kind of performance that it will help to deliver in these upcoming handsets. However, we already knew this since Samsung offered up a video during CES to show just how powerful the new chip was.

We already discussed the possibility of the chip being used in the Galaxy S4 because it was assumed that it might take too much to get it ready for production, as the S4 is expected to be released as early as April. However, you have to ask yourself why Samsung feels the need to tease an image of the 8-core processor if they don’t plan on making some sort of announcement soon?

Let’s hope that Samsung work on the exterior of their devices more this year because while the Galaxy S3 and the Note 2 are pretty awesome in terms of their hardware and how they implement the software, there’s no getting away from the fact that they look cheap with the plastic finish.
