Samsung Series 5 H5500 40-inch Smart TV review for UK

Those who are looking to pick up the cheapest Samsung Smart TV in the UK may want to consider the Samsung Series 5 H5500 40 inch Full HD Smart LED Television, which comes with Freeview HD and WiFi Direct on top.

This particular model is now available with some discounts, bringing the final price to under £400 which is well below what Samsung are advertising themselves at the moment on their official product listing.

This is surprising considering it’s a relatively new model with some fantastic features. For example, the Samsung Series 5 H5500 specs include a 40-inch display which is full HD supported with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.

It’s powered by a quad-core processor, meaning that the Smart TV navigation when using internet apps is going to be blazing fast and very smooth. The picture quality of this TV is fantastic too, with Samsung including their Clear Motion Rate 100 technology to enhance the display further – there’s also dedicated Film and Gaming modes.

The Smart TV features are a main highlight of this model and a key factor which will probably sway you towards a purpose. WiFi is built-in so you won’t have to worry about setting up this TV near a router.

Aside from Freeview HD which will come built-in, you’ll also get access to Samsung’s Smart Hub which includes apps such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Spotify and Vevo.

There’s web browsing access too and also the ability to stream your TV display to a mobile device, the bedroom for example when you want to relax and unwind.

It really is impressive stuff and a great buy for under £400 should you find this model at that price. Check out the Samsung Series 5 H5500 40-inch Smart TV reviews here over at Samsung’s website and see what others have been saying – be sure to click the ‘view owner reviews tab’.
