Samsung and Sprint have gone ahead and played their hand at grabbing the social networking market by releasing the new Samsung Seek, a handset that comes in “Cool Blue” or “Scarlet Red.”
The device comes with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard for easy navigational accessibility, while surfing one of many pre-loaded social networking applications such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. Your favorite instant messaging networks and applications are also pre-installed along with an email application.
The screen measures at 2.6inches, and is a QVGA touchscreen which also comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, media player, web browser and a slot for a microSD card.
Sprint are only asking $29.99 for this device, aimed at the young social networking users with a two-year contract. Another color “Fantasy Pink” will also be made available from June 6.
