Samsung PN51F4500 51-inch Plasma HDTV with smooth 600Hz

Plasma HDTVs might be on the way out, but the Samsung PN51F4500 51-inch Plasma HDTV features a smooth 600Hz refresh rate to deliver blur free images. This is something some LED TVs cannot match.

The Samsung PN51F4500 51-inch 720p 600Hz Plasma HDTV has a 51-inch Clear Image Panel, which delivers awesome contrast levels of blacks and whites, something you don’t get with LCD TVs, along with some of the more cheaper LED TV models.

Going back to that smooth 600Hz refresh rate, this technology comes into its own when watching sports games and action movies because these are fast-paced and so the TV needs to be able to keep up.

The Samsung F4500 (as it is also known) specs are rather impressive for its age, even if Plasma is starting to lose its appeal. You have a 51-inch panel with a resolution of 1366 x 768 and 720p, which is a bit of a shame because imagine the image quality if it was Full HD 1080p?

Some of the other features for the Samsung PN51F4500 HDTV is Wide Color Enhancer for vivid colors, ConnectShare movie, which allows you to play movies from a USB storage device, Dolby Digital Plus/Pulse and DTS Premium Sound for awesome sound quality.

Even though this TV is getting on a bit now, it is still more than up to the task and gives you plenty of bang for the buck. It isn’t the newest and does not have the most up-to-date features, but for a price less than $500, it isn’t going to break the bank either.
