Samsung Omnia HD i8910 & Samsung Moment: Firmware Updates Coming Soon

According to a recent article posted on IntoMobile it seems that Samsung will soon be releasing two new firmware updates for two of their handsets, the handsets receiving firmware updates will be the Samsung Omnia HD i8910 and the Samsung Moment.

The i8910 update will allow the Symbian OS to feature kinetic scrolling, other than that details are scarce, however I’m sure there will be plenty of bug-fixes and interface tweaks.

The update for the Moment will update the Android OS to Android 2.1, this will be pretty significant for the Moment and should improve performance, batter life and intuitiveness.

We are currently unsure when these updates will be released, therefore as we find out more we will keep you informed, for more details check out IntoMobile.

Do you own either of these handsets? If so, what improvements would you like to see?
