Cell phone users who are looking to pick up the Samsung Intercept early next week have been given a glimpse into what to expect, as a video preview has appeared on the internet from a lucky shopper who picked his up early.
The Samsung Intercept is scheduled for release on Sprint on July 11, and runs on Android 2.1. It also comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 3.2” 800×480 touchscreen, Wi Fi, GPS, an optical trackpad and a slide-out keyboard in landscape view.
According to the reviewer in the video, it is thought that Best Buy are selling these early for $100, which we can gather would be on contract. Sprint are thought to be selling the phone for around $130, but it has still not been listed on the carrier’s website.
In no way would it be fair to compare this to the HTC EVO 4G or the Droid X from Motorola, but the ‘Moment’ successor does look promising. The video does not reveal anything spectacular although we do recommend taking a look at the overview that we have placed below to make up your own mind.
