Samsung Galaxy Tab: Unboxing Video and Hands-on

As you are probably aware the official Samsung Galaxy Tab release date is not too far away, therefore we thought we would share a video with you showing you the unboxing and roughly 5 minutes of hands-on time with the tablet.

The video has been embedded at the end of this post, the retail packaging is pretty small and simple, however once open you get to see the impressive 7-inch tablet, I was very surprised with just how well the device fitted in the man’s hand. Other contents in the packaging include a good quality headset, a charger and a USB cable, interesting this cable uses a docking port, not micro USB.

The hands-on gives you a quick look at the Tab’s capabilities, firstly the Tab being unboxed was set to German, I was impressed just how easy it was for the user to switch languages, it is obvious he has not done this before but manages to do it within a minute or so.

The hands-on then showed the impressive web browser, the pinch-to-zoom functionality was extremely smooth and sites loaded via 3G extremely quickly. As the Galaxy Tab runs Android 2.2 FroYo as standard its browser supports Flash, the video shows impressive Flash playback on YouTube, it sometimes buffers but thats because it is being streamed over 3G rather than WiFi.

I must admit after watching the video I started to come around to the idea of owning the Samsung Galaxy Tab, check out the video below and let us know whether you feel the same way.

Has this unboxing and hands-on video changed your opinion on the Samsung Galaxy Tab?
