We have some great news for those of you with the 10.5-inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Samsung has steadily made an official Android 5.0.2 update available for those with the WiFi version of the tablet.
It’s not available to everyone, but we can confirm that some users in Europe and others in the US have been able to get the update.
The update is 930MB in size and Samsung France has confirmed that the update is definitely available for Galaxy Tab S 10.5 WiFi owners in France.
Some owners in US and Canada have also been able to get the update so we are assuming that it is slowly rolling out to owners gradually this week.
To see if the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Android 5.0.2 update is live for you in your region, feel free to head to device settings and push the update manually.
To do this, simply go to Menu > Settings > About device > Software update and Update. You can check this throughout the day to see if a manual update is available – or you can always try Samsung Kies failing that.
Let us know if you are installing this update right now, or if you are still waiting for the update.
