Samsung Galaxy Tab: No Sprint 4G Speeds – Does it Matter?

We have some disappointing news for those of you thinking of picking up the Samsung Galaxy Tab on Sprint, as we can confirm that the device will ‘not’ be coming with support for Sprint’s 4G WiMAX speeds as previously thought.

As reported from Engadget, the inclusion of 4G data speeds was surely going to put the Sprint version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab miles ahead of the likes of Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, but now its all gone down the wire it seems.

Sprint hasn’t released a statement on this (as far as we know), but you can expect them to give a solid reason to their consumers when the dust settles on Samsung’s Galaxy Tab event.

As soon we hear something from Sprint on this, we’ll let you know asap. Let us know your reaction to the news – Are you still going to get one or not?
