Samsung Galaxy Tab: Make Phone Calls on T-Mobile – How to Guide

We have some interesting news for those of you with the T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, as it has been reported that a modder has successfully managed to enable calling on the device.

As reported from BGR, you probably won’t be surprised to hear that the guys at the XDA-Forums are responsible for this, but more specifically, user Jyveafk is the one you should thank.

He is claiming that he has altered the device to allow it to make calls over T-Mobile’s EDGE network using the Odin3 v 1.70 flasher tool.

Unfortunately, the process to get this work doesn’t appear to be too straight forward, but for all those that are interested in trying this out (we’re sure theres a lot!), head to the links below for downloads and a tutorial. If you do attempt this, let us know if you manage to get it working so others can follow.
