Samsung Galaxy S5 Vs iPhone 5S resolution rumors

With just days to go until the inevitable unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S5, excitement is running high at the moment as we see leaks continuing to drop. This week, it looks like we may have some clues on the Galaxy S5 UI, as well as confirmation that the device will also support a fingerprint scanner.

February 24 is the big day when Samsung will finally unveil the device in Barcelona. Consumers have been going nuts on what the final Galaxy S5 specs, design and UI will look like, and we’re pleased to bring you some last minute whispers on this.

Aside from the addition of a fingerprint scanner that looks like replacing the previously rumored retina scanner, one Galaxy S5 rumor that looks to be coming true is a display that will support a gorgeous 2K resolution.

A screenshot revealed by this website claims that the Galaxy S5 was used to capture the image, and supposedly confirms that the device will be rocking a 5.25-inch display with a staggering Galaxy S5 resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, with 560 ppi.

Just to give you a comparison between Apple’s iPhone 5S, Samsung may have a display that is unrivalled, with the iPhone 5S only having a Retina Display with 326 ppi.

Bezel-free display on the Galaxy S5?

That is some serious quality right there folks and it sounds even better when you continue to read rumors that the Galaxy S5 display will also be ‘bezel free’.

Other rumored Galaxy S5 specs are of the highest quality too, with an apparent 2.5GHz quad-core processor or 8-core Exynos chipset powering everything under the hood, with 3GB of RAM on top.

In terms of camera quality, a 20-megapixel rear sensor has been discussed, while Samsung will reportedly put a 2-megapixel front-facing camera in as well.

Combined those Galaxy S5 features with a 3,000 mAh battery, the fingerprint scanner as mentioned above and of course Android 4.4 KitKat, and it could be the best smartphone on the planet as of now.

It goes without saying that these are some truly awesome specs for the Galaxy S5. They are still rumor at the moment though, so always remain cautious.

Will you be throwing your money at Samsung in a few weeks time if all of the information lines up? More importantly – how will Apple compete with this?
