Samsung Galaxy S: Android 2.2 Froyo Update Leaked – Download Links

We have some good news for Samsung Galaxy S users now, as it has been reported that a leaked Android 2.2 Froyo update is now doing the rounds. We’ve checked it out and can confirm that it’s available to download now.

As reported from Engadget, the new firmware has once again come courtesy of SamsungFirmwares, who seem to be operating with a brand new website.

A recent Twitter update by them states: ”Samsung starts froyo for galaxy s soon!” – which was posted just 6 hours ago. Further information over at the XDA-Developers Forums leads us to believe that the new update is legit, and Engadget even state that GPS has been improved following the update.

Are you willing to try this out though? Let us remind you, that you should only attempt the update if you know what you are doing. More information over at SamFirmware – you may need to sign up to their website though.
