Samsung Galaxy NX price trepidation for UK

During the post launch event for the Samsung Galaxy NX, there was a mixed response for the camera, because while some reviews seemed to have a positive outlook on Samsung’s latest effort, there were a few people at the event who had their concerns with its performance.

The worrying thing is, this is not the only worry, as the price in the UK could be a major factor in its success. The Samsung Galaxy NX price for the UK could be met with some trepidation, if we are to believe a listing on Jessops, a well-known camera retailer in the UK.

If you assumed that you would be paying a small fortune for the new NX camera, then you will not be let down, as you will have to pay £1,299, which includes the 18-55mm lens. The worry here is the fact that you can pick up the Canon EOS 70D for less.

What worries us here is that Samsung is so consumed with conquering every consumer electronic market that they have lost control of their senses. This is because the Samsung Galaxy NX price point seems to have been plucked out of the air without looking at the competition.

We already explained how you will be able to get the Canon 70D for less, but also the Nikon D600, which as you know can be used in various weather conditions.

The Samsung Galaxy NX is a strange camera, because we are unsure who will be buying one. Professionals will not touch it, and we cannot see everyday consumers going near it because of that high price. We would love to know why Samsung changed their philosophy over the years, because you used to get more for less, but that is just not the case anymore.

Having said that, we have to be wary of Jessops price, as you can often pay over the top for a camera when there are much better deals to be had just by shopping around.
