Well, with around a week to go until Samsung Unpacked, where the company will finally unveil the Galaxy Note 7, some more news has come to light that is a little alarming for some – although we will say that it is not as bad as some people may think.
If we are to believe latest reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 camera will be 12-megapixel, and not 13MP like some people had assumed. This means that it is a drop from its predecessor, as the Note 5 had a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, but let’s put more perspective on this shall we.
The Galaxy S6 had a 16MP shooter as well, yet Samsung decided to go for a 12-megapixel main camera in the S7, and the reason the camera quality was better was due to the fact of the pixels being much larger – and this will surely be the case with the Note 7.
We presume that Samsung will go for this option, seeing as though the phone has been spotted in a listing, as this Dual Pixels system has already proven to work very well in real-world conditions.
Autofocus has already proven to be much better as well, and so it stands to reason why Samsung would want to share the same camera system as it does on the Galaxy S7.
Having said that, this could be yet another reason why people may have an issue, as it will be one less feature that helps stand the Galaxy S7 and Note 7 apart.
