Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs. LG G2 and Optimus G Pro

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launched yesterday at the UNPACKED 2013 event and now we have been able to see official specs and features compared quickly to other popular smartphones. This has prompted us to find a couple of videos for those of you wanting a brief visual comparison as we contemplate the Galaxy Note 3 as a decent addition to the world of smartphones.

The first of the two videos embedded below this article is nearly 4 minutes long and puts the Note 3 up against the LG Optimus G Pro. Throughout the video we get the impression the newly released Note 3 has better performance capabilities compared to the older LG Optimus G Pro, although we can expect another update in the LG Optimus range that could bring it up to the same standard as the new Note 3, if not better.

For those of you that like the bigger smartphones the comparison of both gives us the impression these to devices are the nearest to each other, making it a hard decision for potential consumers to pick which one is best. Personally, the newer Galaxy Note 3 gets my vote, although the S-pen feature may not fit your requirements.

The second video is only three and half minutes long and this compares the Note 3 with the LG G2, which is ideal considering both flagship phones have been released within a certain period. Both products have thinner bezels to enhance the screen size which is 5 inches on the LG G2, while the Note 3 is 5.2 inches.

Overall, the Note 3 is larger when they are put together, and they both have similar specs, while the note has a removable back allowing for replaceable batteries and expandable memory. As we wait to see the camera features being compared we are told that there are many similarities in specs, so we don’t expect too many differences here.

This gives us reason to question what the Pro version of LG G2 will have in store, although we would love to know your thoughts on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and what you think of the comparisons.
