Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Tab 2 receive Jelly Bean update

It’s always the same story when a new version of Android is released, so many of the top devices running on the OS have to wait, while others get to enjoy the improvements that come with it. We’re happy to say that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Tab 2 are getting the latest Jelly Bean update 4.1. However, the wait has been worth it because Samsung has thrown in some extra goodies.

Samsung has brought an update to Premium Suite and according to a recent article comes with a number of improvements to multitasking and an S Pen stylus that is now far more responsive. However, it’s the multitasking that will be more of a benefit to users because you now get far more options than before, such as Multi, Cascade and Air View.

Then there are those improvements made to the S Pen because users will now be able to create shortcut commands to make life far easier for certain tasks. We also love the addition of a handwritten letter and then it send it via email. You can also add effects to digital content with the use of the S Pen, which is used in conjunction with Idea Sketch.

We already knew the 4.1 Jelly Bean update was coming to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Tab 2 because the tablets were showcased at CES running the new operating system. However, Samsung still has work to do because a great number of their other Android devices are also screaming out for this update. However, we know that they are now busy working on their next flagship handset, the Galaxy S4, which is rumored to be getting a 1080p display, although they should not forget about their current devices.
