For those of you who much prefer the larger smartphones then you would have been very happy when Samsung released the two Galaxy Mega handsets. However, there was a compromise in terms of performance and hardware, and this will be highlighted more with the upcoming release of the Note 3.
With only a few days to go until the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is announced during IFA, no doubt some of you will be putting off your Galaxy Mega purchase just to see the differences?
Samsung Galaxy Mega vs. Note 3 — In just a few days we will no doubt see several videos that compare their specs, but we can already look into this a little with the current Galaxy Mega and the expected Galaxy Note 3 specs.
The Galaxy Mega comes with a choice of screen sizes, a middle of the road dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and an 8-megapixel main camera. The Galaxy Note 3 is expected to come with a slightly larger screen than the Note 2, a full HD 1080p display, a next-generation processor, 3GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel camera.
Below we have a video that looks at the differences and if you should wait if you are looking for a phone now, considering you do not have that long to wait because the Note 3 event will be held on September 4. Having said that, the Galaxy Note 3 release date might not be until October, although we feel late September is more likely.
Remember, the Galaxy Mega only comes with a 720p screen, and while this is not an issue for some of you, if you want a vivid, crisp display then the Galaxy Note 3 would have to be it.
