In just 4 days, on 5th April, the first Samsung 5G phone releases to South Korea with the Galaxy S10 5G. It’s thanks to the country launching 5G nationwide and being the first country to do so, which will likely help their new 5G network attract lots of new customers thanks to the new handset.
Tech and Samsung fans in both the UK and United States await the 5G network rollout and also the handsets to arrive to support the faster network. There isn’t any release dates yet for Galaxy S10 5G in the said other countries, although if everything goes to plan they should land later this year.

Verizon will be launching 5G in both Minneapolis and Chicago in the first half of April, also as the first US carrier to get the S10 5G phones. If you live in another city, you might be one of the 30 plus other cities getting 5G later in 2019.
In the UK, naturally EE will launch their 5G network at some point by summer 2019. UK cities getting 5G first include London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Belfast, Birmingham and Cardiff. More details and specs on Samsung.
