We reported to you in a recent post that Samsung had lunched a range of Galaxy S smartphones. The names of these handsets differ depending on the carrier, for AT&T they have the Samsung Captivate. All handsets offer something a little different, so how will the AT&T offering perform in a review?
Mike Perlman from inFoSyncworld has spent some time with the device and has certainly been thorough with his review. As you know the handset shares a number of the same features as the HTC EVO 4G smartphone from Sprint.
Features include a 4-inch screen, 5-megapixel camera, Android 2.1 — although update 2.2 will follow shortly — 1GHz CPU, 720P video recording and much more. The looks of the handset is like no other Samsung handset — so rivals LG will now have to up their game. More spec details
Perlman states that the Samsung Captivate is not the iPhone killer that some might of suggested, but it is one of the best smartphones available. It’s nice to see AT&T get another great phone; it’s as if Verizon has been getting the lion’s share of the Android handsets of late. Read a full review via the link above.
