We know that there are some of you out there that buy a new TV and just set up the most basic of functions and then just get on with things. However, those of you that know about such things understand that you need to play around with the settings in order to get the best from your television. One of the most popular brands is Samsung, and and we know that they would like to see how easy it is to calibrate their Samsung 4K TV.

Samsung 4K TV calibration made easy – Ok, so we know that the picture quality of these TVs do look fantastic right out the box, but there’s still so much more you can do. Things like pixel density is so much better than 1080p models, but you would not believe how bad some off the images look with the 4K models that are not set up correctly to those that are.

There are two ways in which you can calibrate the picture on your Samsung 4K Ultra High Definition TV, and that is either by eye, or with a Blu-ray set-up disc. However, we know that some of you do not have a Blu-ray, as they rely on the likes of online streaming services to provide their UHD content from them.

The good news is that you do not need to be an expert in understanding picture control, as there are several set-up guides out there ready to offer you some much-needed advice.

All claim to offer you the best advice, but then it does come down to various factors, such as the room your TV is in, along with the lighting conditions.

Take this guide for example, it helps to explain what they believe to be the best calibration settings, and do not try to baffle you too much with over the top technical jargon.

Next we have a video below said to be the best picture settings for your Samsung UE65JU7000 4K TV, although we are sure this applies to most Samsung 4K models. We did give this a go, and have to say that these settings did come out pretty good, although do not try them on a a 1080p TV, as the picture settings come out dark and washed out – so just 4K TVs.

Finally, we have come across a list of calibration settings for a huge number of Samsung TV models, and this also applies to non-4K models as well.
