Samsung 49MU6220 49-Inch Curved 4K TV review perfect for gaming

For those of you that have a little extra money to spend during the November sales season and don’t mind paying for quality, there has been some major price reductions on the Samsung 49-Inch 49MU6220 Curved 4K UHD Smart TV with HDR this month.

This TV has a usual retail price of £639 on Samsung’s UK store, however Argos are currently offering it for only £499 which is an amazing deal in our opinion.

We say this as this is a Curved 4K TV which comes with HDR picture quality making it an ideal choice as the perfect gaming TV for those with the PS4, Xbox One, PS4 Pro or Xbox One X consoles.

Other key Samsung 49MU6220 specs include a 49-inch 3000R display with a 3,840 × 2,160 4K Ultra HD resolution, 4K UHD upscaling, UHD dimming technology, Mobile to TV mirroring, TV to Mobile mirroring, WiFi direct and much more.

It has 3 HDMI inputs, 2 USB ports, full access to Samsung’s Smart Hub for 4K apps such as Netflix and also Samsung Smart View which will let you control all of your TV content easily on your mobile.

It is the curved factor here though which is the big attraction in our eyes and if you have been waiting for prices to drop for curved models that support 4K, now is your chance as you may struggle to find this under £500 at other times of the year.

To get more feedback on whether this model is right for you, we recommend you first read through the Samsung 49MU6220 reviews here at Argos and also at Samsung’s product listing here.
