Sainsbury’s half price toy sale date in Oct 2015

We have had a tip from one employee and they confirmed the Sainsbury’s half price toy sale has a start date of Oct 21st, 2015. This is exactly what we predicted in our earlier article, so our UK readers will be happy to know our insider only added weight to the news from last week. The Sainsbury’s toy sale for October will feature 50 percent off a range of toys, so perfect for Christmas gifts and last minute bargains.

Original Article: UK shoppers are becoming more clued up about certain events each year and one of these is the Sainsbury’s toy sale with an expected start date of October 21, 2015. This follows previous patterns for a Wednesday before half-term, and this is normally a good time for shoppers to start their Christmas shopping when toys see up to half price.

Popular forums have been filled with people asking if anyone knows when Sainsbury’s will be doing their toy sale again this year. One such discussion has been taking place this month on the Money Saving Expert website and while most people know the Sainsbury’s toy sale will be in October, the exact start date is unclear.

Last year we saw the event kick off on Wednesday 22nd October, so it seems natural for Sainsbury’s to offer these toy deals again on the Wednesday before School half-term. Of course, one factor to impact this would be Sainsbury’s pushing Black Friday harder in 2015 rather than their toy sale, although this is highly unlikely to replace the regular toy event.

Toy brands seeing the biggest discounts before included Star Wars, Barbie, Nerf, Thomas the Tank Engine, Disney Princess, Turtles, and Fisher Price.

Sainsbury’s run the event for about 6 days in the past, so we’d expect the offers to last until around Tuesday October 27th, if they start on the expected date. We will publish the exact details on this page the moment the news breaks, but look for original prices to be cut by 25 to 50 percent.

Sainsbury’s half price toy sale date in Oct confirmed: As we updated above, get ready for 50 percent off toys during the event that starts tomorrow. We will list some of the deals when they go live.
