Ryse: Son of Rome not on PS4, reason some go Xbox One

It might shock a number of our readers that some gamers will purchase Xbox One thanks to Ryse: Son of Rome not releasing on PS4, and this is just one of their reasons along with what some claim is a more diverse range of titles at launch on Xbox One. If you love First Person Shooters and Strategy games, then Ryse: Son of Rome could hit your sweet spot and the fact that it’s exclusive to Xbox One is stopping a select few from going for PS4.

One Product Reviews reader stated, “I saw the Xbox One launch lineup and just had to go for Microsoft’s offering and I’m a current PS3 owner, I just get a feeling Xbox One will get a lot more important exclusive games this generation mixed with timed exclusive DLC on some of the really popular games”. Another commenter added, “I love a good strategy game like Age of Empires and love Roman movies and TV series like Spartacus, so Ryse: Son of Rome really appeals to me and was the very reason I went Xbox One. Both systems look very similar in terms of hardware specs, other than size, so the launch lineup changed everything for me”.

It is also true that those with a little bit more money are happy to purchase both Sony’s PS4 and Xbox One. “I love my PlayStation 3 and always favored it over my Xbox 360, so I decided to purchase the PS4 only this generation but that choice changed when I saw Ryse: Son of Rome and Dead Rising 3. Both of these games are exclusive to Xbox One, so I decided to purchase both PS4 and Xbox One. Thing is, once you have the hardware you only purchase games on either machine, so it is good to have both”.

We have included some gameplay below this article for Ryse: Son of Rome on Xbox One and it will show you how much fun it is to channel your inner Roman.

While some early Ryse: Son of Rome Xbox One reviews trash game, in my opinion this will not be the same experience felt by gamers once they get hands-on within the next 24 hours.
