RunKeeper Workout Tracking App Comes to Windows Phone 7

We have some rather interesting news now for those of you that own a Windows Phone 7 device and enjoy keeping fit, as the RunKeeper workout tracking app has finally been made available for the WP7 platform. The app is free, and available to download as of now.

The great thing about having the RunKeeper app on your Windows Phone 7 device is the fact that you’ll no longer need to fork out for expensive, standalone fitness tracking devices. The app enables you to track things such as how far you went, the route you travelled and how long it took you.

It also allows users to store all their activity history on the website, where you can monitor your progress and keep a track of all your totals. The app also features map integration, which allows you to see the exact route you travelled on a map, both on the device itself and on the website.

Another great thing about the RunKeeper app is the ability to share all your activities with friends. As noted on the website, you can do this either by email, or by posting them onto your favorite social networking websites such as Twitter and Facebook.

Are you thinking of downloading the RunKeeper app for Windows Phone 7?
