Rumored Sigma Lenses for 2014 – 2015

With the Photokina 2014 event set for mid-September all eyes will be on two brand, Canon and Sigma. There is a good chance that the Canon 7D Mark II will be on show, along with a few third-party lenses from Sigma. As ever, these reports are based on rumors, although they do seem highly likely.

Sigma Lenses for 2014 and 2015 — There is a very good chance that Sigma will showcase a number of new lenses, with a very high probability of the 24mm f/1.4 DG ART and the 85mm f/1.4 DG ART showing up.

According to Canon Rumors the 85mm f/1.4 is the most likely to show up at the event in September, while the 85mm f/1.4 DG ART might not be released until later this year, or possibly 2015.

There are two other upcoming Sigma lenses that have a high likelihood of showing up this year, and that is the 24-70mm f/2 DG ART and 300-600mm f/? OS Sport.

Sigma needs to bring new lenses to Photokina 2014 and after, as photographers like to have the choice of going for these cheaper third-party lenses rather than pay a premium for those from canon and Nikon.

For details on the possible Sigma Lenses roadmap and the probability of them being released, then head over to Sigma Rumors.
