Rumor: New iPhone OS 4.0 Demo and Release Date

Some potentially exciting news to reveal to you now, as it has been rumored from a number of sources that Apple ‘could’ be planning to demo the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0 next month.

Thats according to this report from Redmond Pie, who has stated that the date for the first glimpses of iPhone 4.0 could be as early as March 14th.

This has been backed up by another website, ‘Cult of Mac’, who also claim that they were given this tip off. However, it may turn out to be bogus, since the 14th March actually falls on a Sunday – leaving it unlikely that Apple will choose to reveal something as major as this on a Sunday.

Surely its too early for iPhone OS 4.0 just yet isn’t it? We are only just hearing about the upcoming 3.2 update via the recent release of the iPad SDK.

Let us know your thoughts on this.
