Rumor – E3 2011 may reveal Xbox LIVE Diamond subscription

If you own an Xbox 360 and you are looking forward to seeing what E3 2011 brings we may have a bit of a sneak peak for you, this is thanks to a recent SlashGear article which speaks about a new Xbox Live subscription called Diamond.

At the moment 360 gamers either have silver or gold memberships, however it looks like fans of MediaRoom IPTV services may benefit from this new Diamond subscription, details are understandably scarce at present, however all should be revealed during Microsoft’s E3 2011 press conference which kicks off in roughly three days time.

We guess that the Diamond subscription will give Xbox 360 owners an easy way to pay for all of the benefits associated with a gold membership with IPTV thrown in, however as there are so many IPTV operators out there currently we are unsure how this will work.

As previously mentioned for now we do not know a lot, but it does look like a new Xbox Live Diamond subscription is inbound which has something to do with IPTV, when we find out more we will keep you posted.
