Rogers Novatel MiFi 2372: Recall over battery problems

We have some important information for Rogers customers in Canada now, as it has been confirmed that the Novatel MiFi 2372 device has been recalled, due to problems with a faulty battery.

As reported from BGR, no specifics on the exact battery problems were given, but it seems pretty serious since Novatel will be issuing all owners, with a pre-addressed and pre-paid envelope.

The company has also confirmed that the fix should take around 7-10 business days to fix, although sadly, customers will not be sent a temporary stick to make up for the loss of mobile data. Instead, you’ll be given credits for the length of time you are without the device.

Do you own one of these devices? If so, let us know your thoughts on this. More details through the link.
