Rock Band 4 release date excitement in 2015

Some massive news has come in, with Harmonix confirming that Rock Band 4 is finally coming. Even better, the Rock Band 4 release date for PS4 and Xbox One will come this year and will support all existing DLC and instruments.

The upcoming title is being built on a new engine and aside from existing instruments, there’s also a brand new Rock Band 4 guitar and drum set to buy.

MadCatz will also assume their duties by making further peripherals for the game, just as they have done for previous games in the series.

Gameplay features of Rock Band 4 are being kept a secret at the moment, but we’re guessing more will be revealed in the weeks to come.

Just the news that all of your old DLC and instruments will work though is fantastic news for those that spent a lot of money on content – the perfect announcement in our eyes.

It feels like there is still a lot of love left for the Rock Band franchise and judging by feedback on social media – many of you are ready to jump back into the series with your plastic instruments in hand.

What is your reaction to the fact that Rock Band is coming back – are you ready to embrace it once again and rock on in the living room with those plastic peripherals?
