Review of Element 60-inch ELEFW605 LED HDTV specs

When we offer a review of some TV models there is a lot to talk about, as there is a lot to go on thanks to them having some pretty decent specs and knockout features. However, there are times when looking at budget models we cannot find a lot to talk about, and this is the issue we have with the Element 60″ 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV model number ELEFW605.

While this is a Full HD TV, it is pretty basic and so comes with none of those high-end features you get from the likes of Samsung with the aim of delivering superb picture quality. Having said that, seeing as though this is an older model we are able to get a greater insight into this model thanks to some reviews sent in by a few of our readers during the past year.

Before that let’s take a look at the specs, but don’t get too excited will you.

The 60-inch panel has a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which is even better than certain Samsung OLED models. This model has a 178-degree viewing angle vertical and horizontal and a maximum aspect ratio of 16:9. Other features include a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness and a 4ms response time.

Three is also a built-in digital tuner, although lacks Smart TV features, which is a shame, although expected with a TV at this price. As for connections, you get 3 HDMI inputs and USB.

Here is what some Product-reviews readers had to say. “Not too impressed, while the picture is decent enough, the sound leaves a lot to be desired.” We can understand where this person is coming from, and so you may want to consider a Insignia NS-SB314 soundbar.

Another of our readers said, “The TV was easy to setup and mount on the wall, and the picture quality was as expected, although non-HD programs look grainy. However, the biggest problem seems to be with the weight, as it is a bit on the heavy side.

Do you own this 60-inch Element TV, if so what are your thoughts?
