Back in September last year we brought you the very first details for the much-anticipated Nintendo 3DS title, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. All we knew at the time, was that the game would be arriving sometime in 2011. Since then we’ve seen a trailer, but no confirmed release date.
That is until now anyway!! According to Audrey Drake over on the ign.com website, Capcom has just revealed a release date for the Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D title, and we can now tell you that RE fans can expect the upcoming game to arrive on June 28th.
A release date wasn’t the only thing that the developer recently revealed either, as they also confirmed that Rebecca Chambers would be a playable character in the game. Chambers — who first appeared in the original Resident Evil — was last playable in the mercenaries mode of RE5: Gold Edition.
In Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, Chambers will be joining characters such as Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Krauser, Hunk and Albert Wesker. Mercenaries 3D will include the ability to shoot while moving, as well as both characters and locations from previous titles.
Will you be buying the Resident Evil: The Mercenaries game?
