Remembering William Clay Ford with memorial video

Whenever we hear about someone who has touched so many lives it is a sad day, this was the case with the passing of Steve Jobs, and also with the recent death of William Clay Ford. Like Jobs, a memorial video for William has been uploaded to YouTube to help us remember the great job he has done for the Ford Motor Company.

Remembering William Clay Ford is so important and seeing such a video on YouTube of the longest living grandson of Henry Ford makes it a little easier to get over his passing.

Many people would say that losing Ford is an end of an era seeing as though he worked for the motor company for 57 years. Like Steve Jobs, William Clay Ford had a very strong opinion and was very passionate about the Blue Oval.

In the video we get to see William next to his grandfather and then onto his time as a young adult. We then get to see him in his twilight years, and while it is very sad to watch, it is also a celebration.

We know that we have mentioned Steve Jobs many times, but people like this are very rare and so it is nice to remember them, just as we are with William Clay Ford.

William Clay Ford, helped shape the Ford Motor Company into what it is today and was one of only a few that managed to ride the storm, unlike General Motors. He began as an employee at the company and worked up to become a director and a figurehead that managed to steer them in the right direction.

What makes this news even sadder is the fact that he was the last surviving grandchild of Henry Ford.
