Remembering Robin Williams with monologue for iPad commercial

It is not often that we would like to see a TV ad repeated months after it was first aired, but this is just what we would like to see Apple do with the iPad Air TV Ad “Your Verse”. The monologue used was taken from the movie Dead Poets Society and would be the perfect way of remembering Robin Williams.

We have seen Apple make several memorable commercials over the years, with “Here’s to the Crazy Ones” a fine example. This video went viral when Steve Job passed away, and so it would be nice to see Apple give a helping hand to get “Your Verse” viral.

Some of you may feel it is not the right thing to do because Apple would earn money from re-launching such a commercial, but surely it is better to use this commercial than one of the others currently running?

Apple could decide to donate money to one of the charities close to the heart of Robin Williams, as we do know they already donate a lot to different charities.

The commercial made more people watch the movie Dead Poets Society because some of them were shocked that Robin Williams was more than a comedian, as he could also do serious roles as well.

Do you think it would be right for Apple to re-run the iPad Air ad with the voice of Robin Williams?
